About Tracy

Tracy is welcoming adolescent patients 15 and up and adults.

I’m Tracy McDonald, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I began my practice in Chicago in 2012 at a community hospital, then moved to Bend in 2015 where I have great appreciation for the engaging psychiatric practice, as well as the northwest lifestyle. I have worked in community mental health settings, as well as large hospital organizations. These experiences have deepened my commitment to meeting people where they are, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term wellness.

Building rapport isn’t just a skill I’ve honed, it’s a value I live by. Whether it’s helping someone feel at ease in the first conversation or guiding them through ongoing care, I strive to make sure every person feels heard, respected, and supported.  I firmly believe treatment is collaborative, patient-centered.

Outside of work, I embrace the Oregon lifestyle along with my husband, two children and dog. You’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors in so many ways, or simply appreciating the balance of community and nature this region offers. That balance inspires me to bring patience, clarity, and care to my professional life as well.
